Completely unexpected I did a new personal best in static exhaled tonight: 2:01 — 11 seconds improvement. There is hope:-))
My script bogominitrain.pl is now much faster (previously all messages were saved before checked, now this happens on the fly). Also I repeated the previous test with added security margins for the other train-on-error methods. They clearly improved, but the winner still is bogominitrain.pl.
I wrote the script bogominitrain.pl to train bogofilter from mboxes. A while ago I did a test how to get most out of it. Today I finished another test comparing it to other training methods. To my pleasure it showed that this script not only generates a pretty small database, but also works best in telling spam from ham.
Today is the World Day Against the Death Penalty. This is the time to think about so-called civilized countries which murder prisoners, many of which are proven innocent. The Death Penalty Information Center and Amnesty International have many examples. Remember, George W. Bush is personally responsible for 152 executions as governor of Texas — should be enough to qualify a mass murder or serial killer.
Yesterday I started into the new pool training season. After the break and a lazy summer, I am very satisfied with yesterday's easy going results.
This has been a bad weekend for peace with the Israelian terrorist regime attacking Syria.
Yesterday my father came to visit me here in Vienna. So we went to the ultimate place to have Schnitzelmiterdäpfelsalat — or Schnitzelmitkartoffelsalat as the Germans say. So, if you are in Vienna and want to have a real Wiener Schnitzel, you know where to go.
September is over. So I have a new monthly statistic. My favorite category always is about the search strings people used to find my pages.
Number one by far is the word Intimrasur or simply Rasur, those alone give about 20% of the search engine hits. With Google my page is no longer the number one which it has been for quite some time. Some spam pages plus some forums got a higher listing now. .procmailrc (with or without the dot) comes in second with about 10%. Here to my very surprise Google has me on the first place. Smiley in various combinations brings another 6%, depending on the combination I get pretty high, alone I'm at 23, scary! Lots of other queries bring people to the dtl-FAQ, the abbreviation list and many other pages including the previously listed Intimrasur-FAQ, my .procmailrc and the smiley list. Too much to analyze for now.
And by the way: There is more than one pi's blog, but Google already knows which one is most important;-)
